Heading Into Night: A clown play about… [forgetting]
Heading into Night, which makes its much anticipated West Coast debut at the Odyssey Theatre, was co-created by Beth F. Milles and Daniel Passer and stars the extraordinarily talented Passer, a renowned Cirque du Soleil clown. This very moving yet unexpectedly funny drama, directed by award-winning adaptor/director Milles, explores the complexities of memory. Are we more than what we know, what we love, and what we can hang on to as time passes? Do we ever go beyond what makes us laugh? Through Milles’ and Passer’s superb work, the audience is taken on a bizarre and melancholy trip, discovering humor, joy, and surprising insights in the paradoxes of fading memory.
