David Lee Lindsey’s new play, “160 Years of Walking: 1865-2025,” is provocative, historical, and amusing. It recounts one Black family’s horrific journey from slavery, through the illusive promise of freedom, to a new dawn. Lindsey creates a fully immersive theatrical experience that connects with people on various levels.
