Whittier Boulevard

Whittier Boulevard, dubbed a “Chicano Noir” comedy, is returning following a successful debut in 2023. The drama poses the question: “Who are we without our elders?” and looks into a future Los Angeles that, in 2042, is plagued by wildfires (hmm, check), heavy rain (check), and anarchy and slaughter (fortunately, none of that to report in 2024) that have nearly killed off the city’s old population. José Luis Valenzuela directs.
