Following a successful trial run on the East Coast in 2008, Monsterpalooza made its West Coast debut in 2009. Since then, MONSTERPALOOZA has gained international recognition as the premier destination for lovers and experts of film, makeup, special effects, collector toys, art, and monsters! With a growing desire for more monstrous Monsterpalooza fun, Son of Monsterpalooza was created in 2012 to fill the fall hole for monster enthusiasts and Monsterpalooza fans from the past!
Meet the award-winning artists behind some of the most incredible animals ever made, with over 150 exhibitors selling one-of-a-kind creations, LIVE cosmetic demos, and more!
Each Son of Monsterpalooza event offers dozens of unique celebrity visitors from the horror, science fiction, and fantasy genres. Previous guests have featured actors from film series such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, The Omen, Phantasm, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Day of the Dead, and many more!
Every year, the Son of Monsterpalooza Theatre hosts one-of-a-kind discussions and presentations all weekend long that highlight fan favorite films from the past and future, as well as the stars, filmmakers, and artists who brought your darkest fears to life on film and beyond!
Son of Monsterpalooza is a fan-friendly event that wraps out the year and welcomes the Halloween season with eye-catching exhibitions, creators and inventors, products, art, and collectibles – you never know who you’ll run into on the show floor!
