Dogtown and The Legendary Z-Boys

I’ve lived in Venice for nearly 20 years, and while much has changed, the history and influence of skate and surf culture have endured. You can still meet legends on the Boardwalk and see the top skaters from today and yesterday show off their talents at the skate park beside the Breakwater. The California Heritage Museum has put together an excellent show featuring boards, photographs, and art on the Z-Boys, the original founders of Venice skate culture who made Venice, well, Venice.
