ABOUT “VOCES: LATINO VOTE 2024”
LAist will host a screening of the new documentary VOCES: LATINO VOTE 2024, which was created by Quiet Pictures in conjunction with Latino Public Broadcasting and ITVS, and is being shown in association with PBS SoCal. Following the screening, Caitlin Hernández, a LAist reporter, will chair a panel discussion. This is an exclusive preview showing of a new documentary that will look at the goals of a politically diverse Latino electorate leading up to the 2024 presidential election.
The one-hour documentary focuses on the important themes that will influence Latino voter turnout in some of the most fiercely contested battleground states, such as Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, as well as California and Florida, both of which have considerable Latino populations.
